It’s IT support renewal season!

If you’re hesitant to sign on the dotted line with your current IT vendor this year, there’s probably a reason.

Here are a few “red flags” that you might want to consider before renewing:

1.  Your IT vendor contract is on auto-renewal. Simply put, missing your 30-day renewal window and waking up to a new, 3-year contract isn’t a good business practice. It vendors do this; IT partners do not.

2.  Your current IT vendor is not responsive. If your current response time on calls isn’t 4 hours or less, you could be losing money. Good IT partners react instantaneously or are “on it” before you even make the call.

3.  They are a “one-man-shop”. Good IT partners have a number of team members with multiple levels of expertise and the skillset to back it up. The team format strengthens your competitive edge and provides tactical strategies that align with your organization’s goals and objectives. What happens with your one-man-shop goes on vacation?  (Team CCR is never on vacation or takes sick days…we are always here for you!)

4.  They can’t provide you with a solid cybersecurity plan. Many vendors will simply install a firewall and call it cybersecurity. An effective cybersecurity strategy must contain a multi-layered approach. If it doesn’t, you don’t have a cybersecurity plan and ultimately, that could cost you your business.
